About the Foundation
Raut Micro Development Foundation is a Company licensed under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013 and operates
as a Not-for-Profit Organization. The Foundation is established to promote social welfare, livelihood development, empowerment of economically
weaker sections, women empowerment, rural development, education, skill enhancement, humanitarian support and access to justice.
The income and property of the Company are applied solely towards the promotion of its charitable objects. No
portion is distributed as profit or dividend to its members, directors or
promoters.
Our Key Initiatives
1. Livelihood & Social Support Initiative
Pursuant to duly passed Board Resolutions and in alignment with its charitable objectives, the Foundation operates a structured Livelihood & Social Support Initiative. This initiative is designed to support:
• Self-employment and small income-generation activities
•Micro and rural enterprise development
• Agriculture and allied activities
• Skill-based livelihood enhancement
• Working capital stabilization for vulnerable individuals
• Genuine social or humanitarian needs
Legal Nature of Assistance
The assistance provided under this initiative:
• Is structured as Returnable Social Support
• Operates under a Revolving Social Reinvestment Model
• Is not a banking activity
• Is not an NBFC operation
• Is not a money-lending business
• Is not an interest-based commercial product
The objective is social empowerment and sustainability, not profit generation. Recovered amounts are redeployed exclusively to assist other eligible beneficiaries.
Documentation & Compliance
All assistance is granted only after:
• Written application and declaration
• Identity and address verification
• Execution of formal Assistance Agreement
• Execution of Promissory Note (where applicable)
• Board-authorized sanction and documentation
No disbursement is made without documented approval and compliance review. Approval of assistance is discretionary and not a matter of legal entitlement.
2. Free Legal Aid & Justice Support Initiative
The Foundation is committed to promoting social justice and access to lawful remedies for economically weaker and underprivileged individuals.
Under this initiative, the Foundation may provide:
• Preliminary legal guidance and consultation support
• Case assessment assistance
• Legal awareness and rights education
• Referral or coordination with independent advocates (subject to eligibility and availability)

• Does not function as a court of law
• Does not issue judicial decisions
• Does not guarantee legal outcomes
• Does not operate as a law firm
All legal assistance is provided in good faith for charitable and justice-support purposes only.
Regulatory & Compliance Position
Raut Micro Development Foundation:
• Does not accept public deposits
• Does not conduct systematic commercial lending
• Does not operate as a financial institution
• Does not carry on banking or NBFC business
All programs are implemented strictly within the framework of its Memorandum of Association, Board Resolutions and applicable laws. All income and contributions are applied solely toward charitable objects.
